Job Summary
Zendesk Employee Services is building intelligent, scalable platforms that bring AI-driven products directly to our customers’ workflows. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to serve as a technical leader within our R&D organization, shaping architecture and driving the delivery of robust, high-scale systems. We are seeking a Backend Engineer to join us.
You will be working on developing the core engine that serves the product of the company, and implementing it.
What You'll Do?
Design and plan backend solutions for product needs
Implement solutions and deliver production ready code
Solve production issues and investigate scales problems
Architect and implement backend systems that integrate modern AI/LLM frameworks, retrieval workflows (RAG), and intelligent automation into production pipelines.
We Want To Hear From You If You Have:
5-7 years of experience as a Backend engineer
4+ years in .NET
Proven technical leadership and peer mentorship in backend engineering
Experience with a declarative CI/CD platform
Experience with at least one cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Experience with MongoDB - Must
Experience with NodeJS - Advantage
Experience with Kubertnetes - Advantage
Experience with ElasticSearch - Advantage
2+ years of hands-on experience integrating AI/LLM technologies (OpenAI API, Anthropic etc) - Advantage
Experience with infrastructure as code platform (Terraform, Pulumi etc) - Advantage
