Your Role & Responsibilities 

Would you like to develop modern test systems and actively help shape production processes? As a Test Equipment Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, standardization, and continuous further development of test and inspection equipment. You will work closely with development, production, quality, and external partners, making a significant contribution to the quality, safety, and efficiency of our manufacturing processes.


In this role, you’ll help run what runs the world, by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact. 

The work model for the role is: onsite with 10 home office days a month 


  • Development, specification, and implementation of test and inspection systems (e.g. ICT, functional, and end-of-line test systems), as well as their integration into the production environment.
  • Project coordination for the procurement of machines and equipment in the field of test equipment – from gathering technical requirements and coordinating with suppliers to commissioning and standardization.
  • Ensuring that test systems and operating equipment comply with relevant safety, machinery, and documentation requirements, including coordination of risk assessments, technical documentation, and approvals.
  • Conducting and evaluating measurement system analyses to ensure stable, reproducible, and quality-compliant test and measurement results, as well as analyzing and continuously optimizing test processes through automation, poka-yoke concepts, and lean and continuous improvement methods to increase quality and efficiency.

What it takes to Run what runs the world 

  • Completed education in electrical engineering, mechatronics, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a comparable field.
  • Several years of professional experience in test equipment, industrial engineering, test engineering, or manufacturing engineering.
  • Experience in project management as well as in planning and implementing technical projects, along with solid knowledge in machine safety, technical risk assessment, standards-compliant documentation, and acceptance of technical work equipment.
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes, production systems, and industrial automation solutions.
  • Experience with continuous improvement methods such as lean, FMEA, SPC, or value stream analysis is an advantage.
  • Structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style, combined with strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Enjoyment of working with internal and external partners, as well as openness to project-related coordination across different locations.
  • Very good German and good English language skills, both written and spoken.

The minimum compensation, in accordance with the electrical and electronics industry collective agreement, is 3.888,53 EUR monthly for a full-time position as of May 2026. But we would be pleased to speak in person about your compensation package in relation to your qualifications and experience!
