Job Description

As Senior Director, Product Lead – Data & Risk Products and Business Enablement, you will have end‑to‑end accountability for two critical product domains within the Open Banking portfolio: Data & Risk Products and Business Enablement. This role consolidates product strategy, delivery execution, and people leadership across these areas, with responsibility for scaling revenue‑generating data and risk products while strengthening the platforms, tooling, and capabilities that enable predictable, high‑quality delivery.

You will lead a team of 6–10 Product Managers and operate as a senior product leader across the organization, partnering closely with Engineering, Data Science, Design, Commercial, and Operations. The role is central to delivering Visa’s growth agenda by expanding risk and data products across markets, improving delivery predictability, and reducing structural dependencies through strong platform and enablement ownership.

The role requires a seasoned product leader with strong strategic judgment, the ability to operate across complexity, and a proven track record of leading multiple product areas while maintaining execution discipline, innovation, and talent excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Strategy, Growth & Outcomes

  • Own the product vision, strategy, and multi‑year roadmaps for Data & Risk Products and Business Enablement, ensuring clear alignment with business OKRs and Visa’s long‑term growth priorities.
  • Drive revenue growth, adoption, and market expansion of risk and data products, translating commercial objectives into clear product outcomes and priorities.
  • Ensure product strategies balance near‑term delivery commitments with long‑term platform scalability, data quality, and architectural integrity.
  • Act as a senior product voice in portfolio discussions, influencing investment decisions and trade‑offs across initiatives.

Delivery Predictability & Execution Excellence

  • Ensure high delivery predictability, roadmap transparency, and outcome‑based execution across all product teams, with clear ownership and measurable progress.
  • Oversee delivery of complex, cross‑market initiatives including new product launches, market expansions, frontend and backend enablement, and platform migrations.
  • Embed strong product operating practices, including prioritization, dependency management, and use of standard portfolio and delivery tooling.
  • Continuously improve ways of working to increase speed‑to‑market while maintaining quality and reliability.

Data, Risk & AI‑Driven Innovation

  • Lead the evolution of risk decisioning, merchant information, and data insight products, improving accuracy, coverage, and client value.
  • Champion the use of data, analytics, and GenAI to enhance product capabilities, unlock new use cases, and improve internal productivity.
  • Partner closely with Engineering and Data Science to ensure models, insights, and APIs are productized effectively and responsibly.
  • Identify underutilized capabilities and drive adoption, commercialization, or rationalization decisions.

Business Enablement & Platforms

  • Own the product direction for Business Enablement capabilities, including frontend SDKs, merchant portal, internal back office and shared services such as User Platform.
  • Reduce cross‑team dependencies and delivery friction by strengthening end‑to‑end product ownership in line with target‑state architecture principles.
  • Ensure enablement initiatives demonstrably improve delivery efficiency, scalability, and developer/product team experience.
  • Drive consistent adoption of standard inflow processes, roadmapping practices, and portfolio governance.

Leadership, Talent & Culture

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of 6–10 Product Managers, building strong product leadership capability and clear accountability.
  • Foster a culture of ownership, transparency, inclusion, and continuous improvement, aligned with Visa Leadership Principles.
  • Ensure clear alignment between individual OKRs, team priorities, and business outcomes.
  • Act as a role model for modern product leadership, including data‑driven decision‑making and AI‑enabled ways of working.
