We're seeking a Level 1 IT Help Desk Technician to support users in a large enterprise service desk environment. This role focuses on providing first-level technical support, troubleshooting user issues, and documenting incidents to ensure timely resolution.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for password resets, account access, applications, and general IT issues.
- Respond to user requests via phone, email, and ticketing systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic technical problems or escalate issues as needed.
- Document, track, and monitor incidents through resolution.
- Assist users with accessing and using various applications and systems.
- Follow established procedures and support documentation to resolve issues efficiently.
- Identify recurring issues and communicate trends to the appropriate teams.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and follow documented processes.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Previous help desk, technical support, call center, or customer service experience is helpful but not required.
- Education or certifications in Information Technology or related fields (must-have)
Schedule
This position supports a 24/7/365 service desk operation and includes weekends and holidays.
Shift: 12:00 AM – 8:30 AM
Days: Saturday – Wednesday
