PC Support Technician

Position Overview

We are seeking a PC Support Technician to support a large-scale workstation deployment project. This role will focus on preparing, staging, and installing monitors and related hardware for employee workstations in a newly constructed office environment.

This is a hands-on technical role that requires strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to follow established deployment processes. Candidates with experience in IT hardware deployments, device setup, asset management, or similar technical support work are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, stage, and install monitors and related workstation equipment.
• Unbox, inspect, and inventory hardware prior to deployment.
• Perform monitor installation, cable routing, and workstation setup according to established standards.
• Ensure all equipment is installed correctly and meets quality expectations.
• Maintain organized staging and storage areas throughout the deployment.
• Track and update asset inventory records as needed.
• Identify and report damaged, missing, or defective equipment.
• Coordinate with IT, facilities, and project teams to support deployment schedules.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Prior experience with hardware deployments, desktop support, asset management, AV installations, or other hands-on technical work is preferred.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and standardized procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Dependable with a strong work ethic and ability to meet project deadlines.
• Comfortable working onsite in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic understanding of computer hardware and workstation setup is helpful.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, move, and install computer equipment and monitors.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and movement throughout the workday.
• Ability to safely transport equipment throughout the facility.

This role is best suited for individuals who enjoy hands-on technical work, staying organized, and helping ensure technology deployments are completed accurately and on schedule.

This is a Contract position based out of Milwaukee, WI.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
