As an Account Supervisor – Lead, Sports Partnerships Creative you will own the development and delivery of creative workstreams across a leading telecommunications client’s sports and partnership portfolio (NBA, WNBA, NFL, MLB, NHL, NCAA, etc.), ensuring work is strategically aligned, operationally sound, and executed at a consistently high standard while driving meaningful impact across partnership investments.
You will act as the central connector across account, creative, strategy, production, and project management teams—driving alignment, clarifying ownership, and ensuring ideas translate seamlessly from brief to execution. In this role, you will not only connect teams, but actively shape how work gets done by establishing clear processes, improving workflow efficiency, and reducing friction across complex, multi-league programs.
This role requires a confident, client-facing leader who can guide the end-to-end creative process, with a strong understanding of sports partnership marketing and the ability to manage complex workflows across multiple stakeholders. You will bring a clear point of view on creative quality, pushing work beyond “on-brief” to deliver ideas that are distinctive, effective, and grounded in the realities of sports partnerships.
You will lead client calls and oversee creative-focused projects, ensuring strong day-to-day execution while maintaining a holistic view across the full program. You will connect high-level strategy to market-ready creative, anticipate challenges before they impact delivery, and proactively guide teams through complexity, competing priorities, and evolving inputs.
Reporting to the Account Director, you will manage client deliverables and own key components of the creative workflow, including scope alignment, timelines, and cross-functional coordination. You will oversee work from creative development through execution, ensuring deliverables are completed efficiently, transitions between teams are seamless, and outputs are delivered at a consistently high level.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Client Management & Leadership. You will lead day-to-day client relationships and serve as a trusted advisor, confidently guiding discussions, presenting creative work, and framing clear recommendations, tradeoffs, and next steps. You are comfortable owning portions of client and internal leadership conversations, ensuring alignment while maintaining forward momentum across fast-moving sports programs. You bring a proactive mindset, anticipating challenges and addressing issues before they escalate.
- Creative & Project Leadership. You have experience leading creative workstreams from brief through execution across toolkits, content, and in-venue assets. You provide clear, actionable direction that improves the quality and effectiveness of creative deliverables, balancing brand standards with the need for breakthrough ideas. You partner closely with creative and Partnership management teams to shape timelines, and deliverables, ensuring work is strategically grounded and delivered at a high standard.
- Sports Activation Oversight. You bring a strong understanding of sports marketing, league and team partnerships, and the nuances of operating across multiple properties simultaneously. You are experienced in managing toolkits, asset ecosystems, activation funding, and permanent signage, and can translate partnership rights and client objectives into clear creative outputs. You are comfortable overseeing and organizing projects end-to-end, maintaining a holistic view of quality, consistency, and in-market impact.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration. You act as a connector across account management, creative, strategy, and production, ensuring alignment on priorities, roles, and outputs. You are skilled at navigating complex stakeholder groups, balancing competing needs while maintaining clarity on ownership and decision-making. You advocate for the both creative quality and feasibility, ensuring teams are set up for success with clear inputs, realistic timelines, and defined expectations.
- Brand Stewardship & Quality Control. You serve as a strong brand steward, ensuring all creative outputs align with brand guidelines, partnership requirements, and platform best practices. You proactively identify when assets, toolkits, or permanent signage require updates and communicate timing, scope, and funding implications to stakeholders. You act as a first pass on quality control, ensuring work is ready before reaching senior stakeholders or clients.
- Stakeholder Leadership & Problem Solving. You build strong relationships across internal teams and leadership, adapting your communication style to effectively engage different stakeholders. You are comfortable operating in ambiguous and evolving environments, bringing structure and clarity where needed. You proactively surface issues, propose solutions, and are confident pushing back on timelines, inputs, or scope when necessary to protect the quality and integrity of the work.
The annual range for this role varies between $70,000- $80,000 and may vary depending on the candidate’s experience. Benefits for this role include health/vision/dental insurance, 401k, employee stock purchase plan, vacation, personal days and paid holiday time. You are also eligible to participate in disability, life insurance, FSA/HSA plans subject to the terms and conditions of such benefit plans.
