The Job
Corporate Actions Domain & BAU Support
- Act as the subject‑matter expert for Corporate Actions applications within the assigned business vertical, maintaining detailed knowledge of system architecture, interfacing systems, data flows, and data content.
- Support user communities on daily BAU activities by responding to business queries and providing guidance on optimal system usage.
- Ensure Corporate Action events are processed accurately and within agreed timelines, in compliance with market requirements and internal standards.
Client Servicing & Controls
- Ensure timely and accurate client notifications for voluntary Corporate Action events (e.g. rights issues, dividend options, warrant expiry, redemptions).
- Ensure correct capture and execution of client instructions and safeguard client entitlements throughout the event lifecycle.
- Handle client and stakeholder enquiries professionally and promptly, maintaining a consistently high standard of service quality.
Testing & Delivery Governance
- Define and recommend appropriate testing strategies, sign‑off criteria, and obtain stakeholder concurrence.
- Lead and manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including planning, timelines, batch runs and re‑runs, and consolidation of testing outcomes.
- Ensure test issues and defects are tracked, resolved, and validated prior to deployment.
Documentation & Governance
- Prepare and maintain high‑quality documentation on data flows, solution design, business logic, and testing approach, in accordance with predefined templates and governance standards.
- Ensure strong controls, auditability, and knowledge continuity are embedded into delivered solutions.
The Talent
Strong domain experience in Corporate Actions processing, covering mandatory and voluntary events.
- Hands‑on experience in system testing (SIT/UAT/regression) within a banking or financial services environment.
- Good understanding of end‑to‑end processing, system integrations, and data flows.
- Proven ability to work closely with Technology teams, project stakeholders, and operations users.
- Strong documentation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrates a risk‑aware mindset with focus on quality, controls, and client outcomes.
