Compliance Officer requires • 5+ years’ experience • OnBase • Versa • Communicate verbally and in writing appropriately • Examine Florida statutes state's written laws and understand how it apply to a specific situation. • Analyze the exact legal text, its definitions, and previous court rulings to ensure compliance with the laws of Florida. • Previous experience working with the public in a professional work environment • Exceptional organizational skills • Project management experience • Strong customer service Duties: • Contact constituents/complainants to discuss the details of the complaints that are filed. • Read state statute and compare with complaints to analyze the issue. • Communicate with the public • Advise complainant of the Division’s jurisdiction and that the case is being closed and for what reason. • Provide any resources or referrals, as appropriate. • Send a written correspondence to the complainant once approved by the supervisor. • Close the case out by adding the appropriate codes/activities/statues • Document actions
