This role is for one of our US clients, and you would be joining their team directly while being supported by Puente through the hiring process. Our client is a startup or mid-market US company growing faster than its processes. They need an operator who can run the day-to-day, keep things on track, and remove manual load with AI, not against it. This is hands-on ownership of an operational area, not a chief-of-staff seat. You will own existing processes, projects, and reporting, and you will build automations to take the manual load off the team. You will be the person who keeps the trains on time. This role fits a reliable operator who owns outcomes within a defined area, and who can manage a small team executing the day-to-day where the role calls for it.

Bonus points

  • Startup or e-commerce/remote-business experience.
  • Proficiency with PM tools and automation platforms.
  • Track record of shipping process improvements quickly.

What success looks like

  • First 90 Days: You own the core processes and the operating cadence for your area, and the team feels the difference. You have shipped at least one process improvement or automation that removed real friction. You have established reliable reporting and metrics visibility for your area.
  • Ongoing: Operations run smoothly and predictably with minimal firefighting. You keep finding and fixing the next bottleneck before it slows the team down. Your team executes consistently and the business scales without proportional headcount growth.
