Help manage the coordination of logistical and warehouse activities, managing distribution chains, and overseeing quality control for multinational company, primarily for distribution between Italy and the U.S, as well as other domestic and international logistics functions. Will be responsible for anticipating and tracking operational and tactical risks using risk management skillset and provide strategic solutions for current and forecasted issues. Develop and execute purchasing strategies for U.S.-based operations using knowledge and experience with export regulations, especially those dealing with Italy and EU import/export regulations and import/export regulations throughout North America. Formulate and implement improvements to company's distribution, warehousing and operations management systems, processes and best practices. Track and report key functional metrics and analytics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness and maintain constant communication with managers, staff, and vendors to ensure proper and smooth operations cross-functionally with parent company in Italy, including ensuring that internal operational activities remain on time and within budget. Review financial documents related to sales, purchases, and logistical activities to determine progress toward business, operational, and profitability objectives and then act responsible for presenting accurate financial reports to senior management, both in the U.S. and to senior managers and executives at parent company in Italy. Identify potential problem areas and points of friction and work to find operational, logistical, warehouse, and supply chain solutions to maximize organizational efficiency and revenue targets. Perform quality controls and monitor production of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Build strategic business areas and alliances to help expand organizational breadth within regional territories. Develop programs for managed team members to support organizational growth, promote high-performance culture, and maintain positive employee relations. Oversee compliance with regulatory requirements and internal protocols, coordinate mitigation plans, and provide training to maintain the highest standards of quality while maintaining regulatory and industry compliance with export and distribution management laws.
