About AMBOSS

AMBOSS is the copilot for medical professionals, empowering them to provide the best possible care through our learning and clinical decision support tool. Our team brings together care, innovative thinking, and cutting-edge AI medical technology. Our founders launched AMBOSS in 2012 with the goal of creating a tool they wished they had during medical school and clinical practice. Since then, we've grown to over 600 employees and are active in over 180 countries - primarily in Germany and the US. Our offices are located in Berlin, Cologne, New York, Cagliari and Cape Town.

Why can this position be exciting for you?

You'll be the operational backbone of everything AMBOSS does physically in the world and that scope is growing fast, globally.

AMBOSS is present at dozens of conferences and events across Germany, the US, and international markets every year. Every booth, every pocket card, every onboarding kit that reaches a physician, nurse, or medical student represents a brand moment and someone has to make sure it actually arrives, on time, in the right place, in the right quantity. That someone is you.

This internship sits at the intersection of events, sales, marketing and operations. You'll work with teams across multiple markets, coordinate with external logistics partners, and own processes that have a direct impact on how AMBOSS shows up in the world. It's hands-on from day one.

You will:

  • Track stock levels and help make sure materials are available when and where they're needed

  • Pack, label, and prepare outgoing shipments via DHL, UPS, and other carriers

  • Handle shipping paperwork, including tracking details and customs forms where needed

  • Help coordinate deliveries with internal teams and external logistics partners

  • Support event logistics — packing, unpacking, and managing return shipments of booth and conference materials

  • Follow up with vendors on orders, delivery timelines, and invoices

  • Help resolve delivery issues or discrepancies when things don't go as planned

  • Keep storage areas organised and easy to navigate

  • Sort, register, and store incoming goods

  • Keep accurate records of shipments and inventory in tools like Google Sheets and Asana

  • Support invoice processing and make sure documentation is in order for accounting

  • Pitch in on ad-hoc logistics requests from teams across the company

You bring:

  • Good organisational skills and the ability to juggle several tasks at once

  • An interest in logistics, operations, or supply chain — prior experience is a plus but not required

  • A sharp eye for detail, especially when it comes to shipments, paperwork, and inventory

  • Basic familiarity with shipping carriers like DHL or UPS is nice to have — we'll teach you the rest

  • Comfort with Google Sheets; experience with Asana or similar tools is a bonus

  • Clear, reliable communication — with teammates and external partners alike

  • A practical, solutions-oriented mindset when things don't go to plan

  • The ability to work independently and keep the right people in the loop

  • A hands-on, structured approach and a genuine focus on getting things right

  • Fluency in English; German B2

You enjoy:

  • Getting things exactly right. You're the kind of person who notices when something is off — the wrong quantity, a missing label, a box going to the wrong place — and you don't feel settled until it's sorted. You take quiet satisfaction in things being correct.

  • Figuring things out when they go sideways. When a shipment is delayed two days before a conference, you don't freeze. You look for solutions, ask the right questions, and stay calm while you work through it. You don't need someone to tell you what to do next.

  • Days that look different from each other. Jumping between a customs form, a vendor email, an inventory check, and an event packing list in the same afternoon doesn't stress you out — it keeps you engaged. You adapt easily and don't need a rigid routine to do good work.

  • Actually doing things, not just planning them. You're happiest when you're in motion. Whether that's at a desk updating a spreadsheet or on your feet packing boxes for a conference, you're comfortable with both — and you see the hands-on parts of the job as what makes it feel real and worthwhile.
