Liquid Personnel is recruiting Social Worker for its client's Safeguarding Team in Lincolnshire.

As a Social Worker, you will play a critical role in protecting adults at risk within a fast-paced and dynamic Adult Social Care environment.

Working under the guidance of Safeguarding Principal Practitioners, you will deliver statutory safeguarding functions in line with the Care Act 2014 and local multi-agency safeguarding procedures. This is a highly rewarding role where you will lead safeguarding enquiries, assess risk, and ensure that individuals remain at the centre of all decisions, promoting choice, control, and positive outcomes.

What will your responsibilities be?

  • Leading and coordinating Section 42 Safeguarding Enquiries in line with statutory requirements.
  • Triaging safeguarding concerns, determining thresholds, and deciding appropriate courses of action.
  • Assessing and managing risk, ensuring proportionate and effective safeguarding plans are implemented.
  • Making initial determinations on whether legal safeguarding duties are met.
  • Promoting Making Safeguarding Personal, ensuring person-centred and outcome-focused interventions.
  • Working collaboratively with partner agencies across health, social care, and the wider network.
  • Applying a strengths-based approach to empower individuals and promote independence while maintaining safety.
  • Maintaining accurate, timely, and high-quality case records in line with policy and legal requirements.
  • Responding effectively to a high-volume, fast-paced safeguarding environment.
  • Using professional curiosity to explore concerns, challenge information, and ensure robust decision-making.

Qualifications & Experience:

To be successful in this role you must have,

Professional Qualification: BA, BSc, MA in Social Work, DipSW, or CQSW.
Registration: Must be registered with Social Work England.

Experience:

  • Strong experience within Adult Social Care, particularly safeguarding.
  • Demonstrable experience undertaking and coordinating safeguarding enquiries.
  • Experience triaging safeguarding concerns and managing risk effectively.
  • Experience working within multi-agency frameworks.

Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of safeguarding legislation, including Section 42 of the Care Act 2014.
  • Knowledge of Making Safeguarding Personal and strengths-based practice.
  • Understanding of multi-agency safeguarding procedures.

Skills:

  • Excellent risk assessment and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong triage and prioritisation skills within a high-demand environment.
  • High level of professional curiosity and analytical thinking.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to produce high-quality, accurate written records.
  • Resilience and ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Creative problem-solving approach, including linking individuals to community support.
