Will teach courses in Nursing, and be responsible for assessment, planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of Nursing classroom and clinical experiences for PUC students. Will assess the need for clinical and classroom learning experiences that facilitate student attainment of course objectives and implement clinical and classroom learning experiences developed in consultation with PUC Nursing Department colleagues. Will evaluate clinical and classroom learning experiences in light of student attainment of course objectives, and work with Nursing Department colleagues to improve and update PUC Nursing learning experiences as needed. Will participate in establishing and implementing departmental goals and objectives, provide input into departmental budget planning, and participate in maintaining departmental and program fiscal accountability. Will serve on departmental committees and task forces as necessary, support research activities in the Nursing department, and serve as a college representative in the clinical agency area. Education and Experience Requirements Master’s Degree in Nursing, plus one year of experience teaching university-level courses and working as a Registered Nurse in a hospital setting. Requires California State Nursing Licensure. Special Skills Requirements Requires California State Nursing Licensure.
