Provide story point estimates for weekly refinements. Ensures that all software solutions are well-documented and reviewed, and validates implementation by supporting story grooming, conducting code reviews, reviewing test plans/cases and reviewing performance test results. Identifies, documents, communicates, champions, and drives adoption for software coding standards, policies, processes, and best practices. Ensures features are configurable and scalable. Understand the business/functional domain and drive creative technical solutioning. Leads software quality initiatives to raise engineering productivity. Rapid learner of Ascension systems, domains and constraints. Engages in knowledge sharing with compelling presentations, demos, or solution samples. Remains abreast of emerging patterns in the industry, identifies architecture gaps and technical debt and applies knowledge to roadmap discussions. Mentors and provides guidance to other engineers. Education and Experience Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or closely related field, plus 3 years of experience as a software development engineer, and demonstrated experience with the following tools and technology: Java/SpringBoot. MongoDB or other NoSQL Database system. GitHub or other Git based version control system. Jenkins or other modern CI/CD system. ElasticSearch, including Indexing and Document Management, Data modeling using nested objects, parent-child relationships, write Ingest pipelines for data parsing and transformation and Writing Custom Analyzers & Token Filters. Elastic Search concepts, including Query DSL, Match, term, range, and bool queries, Full-text vs structured search. Elastic aggregations including bucketing and metric aggregations, nested and pipeline aggregations Use in analytics and dashboards.
