Annual Salary: €37,544 per annum
Weekly Hours: 40 Hours per Week
Responsibilities:
Have the ability to control and oversee the seasoning, portioning and appearance of the food served.
Ensure full adherence to Hygiene and Safety in accordance with the Health and Safety policy.
Lead by example in excellent food production.
Assist in the training of existing and new staff in accordance to standards.
To pass on all knowledge that will help the property in its day-to-day running.
Maintain a high level of food quality which will exceed clients’ expectations.
Collaborate with the team in the compilation of creative and innovative menus.
Manage all financial aspects.
Deliver and excellent standard with the team.
Demonstrate and promote teamwork within the kitchen and front of house.
Excellent communication and the ability to lead and also work well with others.
Have a good knowledge understanding on food, modern food preparation techniques and food safety.
Be committed to delivering first class service.
Have a positive attitude and ability to multitask.
Have good organisational skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
Requirements:
5 years’ experience as a Head Chef.
HACCP knowledge and experience.
Able to lead a team of Chefs
