We are currently seeking a dedicated and dynamic Storesperson to join our team and play a key role in driving excellence and innovation in Catering. What you'll do Washing all crockery, cutlery, kitchen utensils and equipment, food service equipment. Ensuring that the following are kept clean and tidy and to a very high standard: - Floors & Walls, Bins – inside and out - Crushing and disposal of cardboard and boxes - Fridges & Freezers (with assistance of chefs) - Organising and maintaining delivery areas Maintain cleanliness and safety of working areas. To be aware of and to adhere to all health and safety, fire, hygiene and COSHH regulations governing the work you are undertaking and to ensure the correct chemicals/detergents are always used. Report all accidents (and near misses) to the Chef. To report any shortages in equipment or chemicals to the Supervisor Stock Rotation and ensure the store cupboards are in good order Take deliveries and accurately, sign or refute delivery notes Support stocktakes and other reasonable tasks What you'll bring Positive attitude, professionalism, and respect for others Basic food-handling skills Be physically able to lift heavy items and work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours) Limited previous work experience required Why Sodexo?
