Job requirements, outputs and deliverables

Organisation Design

Objective:
Ensure the BCB team is set up to grow sales, efficiently, with clear accountability and decision‑making.

Key outputs / deliverables:

  • Clear articulation of job roles, responsibilities, and decision rights across BCB.
  • Explicit definition of the Direct model, including:
    • Level of staffing
    • The right operating model for each segment.
    • Which clients should sit within the Direct model
  • A deliberate clean‑up of job roles, removing duplication and overlap, and ensuring roles are outcome‑led rather than activity‑based.

1. Product / Sales Management

Objective:
Review the product sales team and ensure it is set up to effectively support customer needs.

Key outputs / deliverables:

  • Clear definition of roles and accountabilities across the teams.
  • Agreed performance metrics and targets, aligned to customer outcomes, growth ambitions and risk appetite.
  • Identification of friction points and dependencies that impact pace, quality or customer experience.

2. Capability of Our People

Objective:
Ensure we have the right skills and capability to deliver consistently and sustainably.

Key outputs / deliverables:

  • Defined capability requirements for key roles (technical, commercial and judgement‑based).
  • Assessment of current capability against those requirements.
  • Clear identification of capability gaps and how these will be addressed (e.g. training, coaching, role design).
  • Confidence that colleagues understand both the ‘why’ and the ‘how’ of the process.

3. Targets and Performance Management

Objective:
Translate strategy into measurable, well‑owned delivery.

Key outputs / deliverables:

  • Clear targets aligned to:
    • Customer outcomes
    • Commercial performance
    • Risk and control expectations
  • Appropriate controls and governance to ensure targets drive the right behaviours. 
  • A clear performance review cadence, owned at the right level.
