Job Title: SAP Transportation Management (TM) SME Location: Dallas, TX 75201 (Remote) Duration: 6+ Months Rate: $Market/Hour on W2 Positions: 2 Eligibility: W2 only Open to US Citizens (No C2C / No Third Parties) Job Description: We are seeking an experienced SAP Transportation Management (TM) Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support transportation management initiatives within a large enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in SAP TM, including functional design, configuration, testing, and implementation support. Candidates with Aerospace & Defense (A&D) industry experience are highly preferred. This role requires a functional consultant who can collaborate with business stakeholders, gather requirements, develop functional specifications, configure SAP TM solutions, and support end-to-end testing activities. The consultant will play a key role in optimizing transportation planning, execution, freight management, and logistics processes within SAP environments. Key Responsibilities: • Lead SAP Transportation Management (TM) functional activities. • Gather business requirements and translate them into functional specifications. • Configure SAP TM modules to support transportation and logistics operations. • Design, execute, and support system testing and user acceptance testing (UAT). • Collaborate with cross-functional SAP teams and business stakeholders. • Provide functional guidance and best practices for transportation management processes. • Support issue resolution, enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives. • Participate in solution design workshops and documentation activities. Required Skills: • 6 9+ years of SAP Transportation Management (SAP TM) experience. • Strong experience in functional specifications, configuration, testing, and solution design. • Expertise in transportation planning, freight management, carrier management, and logistics execution. • Experience with SAP S/4HANA transportation processes is preferred. • Excellent stakeholder communication and problem-solving skills. • Aerospace & Defense (A&D) industry experience is a plus. • U.S. Citizenship required.
