Define and continuously refine the enterprise product strategy for multi-location operator platforms, aligning with company growth goals and evolving field-operational realities (routing, dispatch, coaching, quality assurance, and frontline learning & development). Manage the software development team, combining delegation with hands-on partnership management of the software developer partner, to ensure the roadmap is executed end-to-end defining scope, breaking initiatives into deliverable work, maintaining an ordered backlog, coordinating quality assurance and user testing, resolving delivery risks and tradeoffs, and shipping reliable releases that meet operational requirements on schedule. Own the product portfolio and multi-year roadmap, prioritizing AI-enabled improvements that modernize current business practices (automation-ready workflows, decision support, exception handling, and performance coaching at scale). Serve as the primary product partner to the Franchisor, shaping shared initiatives, aligning on standards and integration paths, and ensuring joint roadmap dependencies are managed proactively. Translate operator, driver, and field-leader needs into clear product requirements (Product Requirement Documents, user stories, acceptance criteria) that engineering and data/AI teams can execute while preserving frontline usability and operational reliability. Architect scalable, automation-ready workflow designs for blue-collar and last-mile operations, including dispatching service vehicles for material transport, route planning, capacity management, and feedback loops that improve performance over time. Lead geographic and customer-density analytics to identify operational leverage points (territory design, routing efficiency, demand clustering), incorporating GIS tools and methods to inform product decisions and market-level optimization. Drive implementation, pilots, and change management across branches in multiple cities designing pilot programs, monitoring adoption, capturing user feedback, and iterating toward measurable operational outcomes. Build and evolve data products, KPI scoreboards, and performance instrumentation across locations/operators/franchises, enabling consistent operational visibility and accountability using modern data and BI tooling. Establish product operating cadence and governance (OKRs, quarterly planning, stakeholder reviews, risk management), ensuring strategy, Franchisor partnerships, and delivery teams remain aligned and execution stays outcome-driven.
Education and Experience Requirements
Requires four (4) years of experience in the job offered or related.
Special Skills Requirements
Experience must have included Designing and managing multi-location operator platforms, to assist with a) dispatching of service vehicles to execute the transportation of materials and b) learning and development programs for front-line training; Translating non-technical operator and driver requirements into specifications for engineers and data/AI teams; Architecting automation-ready workflows for blue-collar and last-mile operations including routing, dispatch, coaching, quality assurance, learning and development; Optimizing last-mile, field operations & customer density mapping using geographical analysis tools including QGIS; Leading technology implementation and change management for frontline workforces, including creating and designing pilot programs, monitoring adoption and user feedback, for operating branches across multiple cities; Building data products and KPI scoreboards to monitor operations’ performance across multiple locations, operators and franchises, using data tools including PostgresQL, Tableau, Looker, Google apps script; Managing a software development team to ensure product released is on-time, and consistent with required scope; and Working in management roles inside Franchise Systems as it relates to product management, acquisitions and performance management.
Travel Requirements
Will travel 10% US and/or Int’l to attend conferences, perform user research and training.
