Kelso Building Services is seeking a proven HVAC sales professional to drive new business across the Denver metro area. This is a high-accountability, field-based role focused on developing commercial service and project revenue in a competitive market.

This position is best suited for a true hunter—someone who is comfortable building a book of business from the ground up and selling into facility management, property management, and industrial clients.


What You’ll Do

  • Generate new revenue through cold calling, door-to-door prospecting, and territory development within the Denver market
  • Conduct technical site evaluations and recommend HVAC service and system solutions
  • Build and maintain a robust, self-generated pipeline—this is not a lead-driven role
  • Develop and present accurate, competitive proposals for service agreements and project work
  • Partner with internal operations teams to ensure precise scoping and successful delivery
  • Sell and expand preventative maintenance agreements and long-term service contracts
  • Consistently hit or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets

Required Experience (Non-Negotiable)

  • 2+ years of commercial HVAC or mechanical sales experience
  • Demonstrated success in outbound prospecting and closing net-new business
  • Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, service models, and project sales cycles
  • Ability to self-generate opportunities without reliance on inbound leads
  • Comfortable selling in a competitive, relationship-driven market like Denver
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar)
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel daily within the territory

Preferred

  • Established relationships with Denver-area facility managers, GCs, or property managers
  • Experience selling service agreements, retrofits, or capital equipment replacements
  • Familiarity with local market pricing, competition, and buying cycles
