Level 1,33 Allara Street, Canberra ACT, 2601 AUSTRALIA Employment Type: Full-Time ICT Business Analyst Salary: $102,000 per annum plus Superannuation About the Role We are seeking an experienced ICT Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing business requirements, evaluating ICT systems, coordinating technology projects, improving operational processes, and supporting the implementation and optimisation of enterprise software solutions. Key Duties and Responsibilities • Analyse business, operational, and service delivery requirements and recommend appropriate ICT solutions. • Consult with stakeholders to gather, document, and evaluate functional and non-functional business requirements. • Research, analyse, and evaluate existing systems, processes, and workflows to identify opportunities for improvement and automation. • Develop business requirements specifications, process maps, technical documentation, and system enhancement proposals. • Coordinate ICT projects and system improvement initiatives, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, risk management, and stakeholder communication. • Monitor project milestones, system performance metrics, service delivery indicators, and operational outcomes to ensure business objectives are achieved. • Participate in software development, system configuration, testing, deployment, and implementation activities to ensure solutions meet organisational requirements. • Conduct system, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing, analyse defects, and coordinate issue resolution activities. • Identify technical limitations, process inefficiencies, and system deficiencies, recommending practical and cost-effective solutions. • Develop automated reporting solutions, dashboards, and operational performance metrics using business intelligence and reporting tools. • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, user guides, standard operating procedures, knowledge base articles, and training materials. • Provide advice and recommendations regarding software enhancements, technology upgrades, system integrations, and business process improvements. • Assist in managing ICT operations, ensuring effective coordination between development, maintenance, and operational support functions. • Support ICT security, compliance, risk management, access control, and governance activities in accordance with organisational policies and industry standards. • Facilitate user training, knowledge transfer sessions, and stakeholder workshops to improve system adoption and operational effectiveness. • Analyse operational data and service performance metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for continuous improvement. • Contribute to the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives, automation projects, and service optimisation programs. Skills and Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline. • At least 2 years of relevant experience as an ICT Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, Process Specialist, Business Systems Analyst, or similar role. • Experience working with ServiceNow, SQL, Microsoft Excel, Jira, Active Directory, and enterprise ICT platforms. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and stakeholder management skills. • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities within a fast-paced environment.
