Senior Account Executive – Risk Management

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Risk Management team at Marsh. This role will be based in Brisbane. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

In this role, you will support a broad portfolio of clientswithin our Risk Management Practice. You will work closely with the Principal and Managing Principal to deliver risk and insurance solutions, build trusted client relationships, and support renewal and retention strategies. This is an opportunity to work on complex accounts in a collaborative environment with access to learning and development across a global organisation.

We will count on you to:

  • Manage risk management and insurance programs to meet client needs and support successful outcomes
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with key client stakeholders through regular communication and meetings
  • Partner with the Principal and Managing Principal to understand client businesses, risk exposures, and insurance requirements
  • Contribute to renewal, retention, and portfolio development strategies, including identifying opportunities to broaden Marsh’s support to clients
  • Support complex claims matters by working with claims colleagues and helping coordinate client advocacy where needed
  • Maintain accurate client records and keep up to date with relevant insurance products, market developments, and legislative requirements

What you need to have:

  • Experience in insurance broking and managing client relationships within a portfolio environment
  • Tier 1 FSRA Compliance
  • Knowledge of risk management principles and core classes of insurance
  • Ability to organise work effectively, manage competing priorities, and provide a high standard of service to clients and colleagues
