We are seeking a talented individual to join Mercer Thailand Team. This role will be based in Bangkok. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

We will count on you to:

  • Under moderate supervision, analyse clients’ financial and compensation data versus market benchmarks using Excel modelling and structured approaches.
  • Work with colleagues to validate market data and ensure client specifications are met; perform revisions and updates as required.
  • Create clear, accurate exhibits that compare market compensation data to client data to support client meetings and reviews by more senior consultants.
  • Understand talent management trends, pay practices and policies relevant to the client and the broader marketplace; apply that understanding to analysis and recommendations.
  • Research public filings and other sources to gather financial and market data; develop peer groups for benchmarking and comparators analysis.
  • Use Mercer’s in‑house technology (and equivalent proprietary tools) to run reports and extract market data for analysis and deliverable preparation.
  • Assist in preparing client presentations and reports by converting Excel analysis into PowerPoint exhibits for review by senior consultants.
  • Support seminar and workshop logistics and materials when needed, working under close supervision of senior consultants.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of methodologies, data sources, and assumptions to ensure transparency and reproducibility of analysis.

What you need to have: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Human Resources, or related field.
  • 0–3 years of relevant experience in compensation, total rewards, HR analytics, finance, or consulting (recent graduates with relevant internships are welcome).
  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills; able to present analysis clearly to colleagues and senior reviewers.
  • Willingness to learn and follow established methodologies under supervision.
  • Team-player attitude; able to collaborate with colleagues and respond to feedback promptly.
  • Strong research skills and the ability to synthesise information from public filings, market reports, and proprietary data.
  • Client-service orientation and professionalism in interactions with internal and external stakeholders.
