Product Engineer Role Overview As a Product Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, building, and delivering software products that directly support business operations. This position goes beyond traditional development work you will collaborate closely with stakeholders to co create solutions, rapidly prototype concepts, and translate business challenges into high value, production ready applications. With a strong emphasis on AI enabled development, modern engineering practices, and iterative vibe coding collaboration, you will help shape how internal technology products are built and evolved. Responsibilities / Expectations Software Solution Design Leads the design and development of sophisticated software solutions, including hands on coding, testing, and debugging Stakeholder Collaboration Works with partners across the organization to define goals, requirements, and solution approaches Technical Documentation Contributes to documentation of systems, processes, and development standards AI Integration Partners with business teams to apply AI capabilities responsibly and creatively across enterprise and operational workflows Generative AI Practices Uses generative AI, prompt engineering, AI assisted development, and ethical AI principles to solve real business problems AI Feature Development Builds or integrates AI backed features into production systems while experimenting responsibly with emerging tools and frameworks Continuous Learning Demonstrates curiosity, adaptability, and a growth mindset by staying current with advancements in AI and modern development methodologies Application Maintenance Ensures existing systems are maintained, enhanced, and aligned with business objectives and IT standards Additional Duties Performs other responsibilities as assigned Education / Experience Requirements Required: High school diploma or GED and 12+ years IT experience, OR Associate’s degree and 8+ years IT experience, OR Bachelor’s degree in an IT related field and 5+ years IT experience Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field Other Requirements Organizational & Communication Skills Strong communication abilities and a commitment to safety as a top priority Microsoft Office Proficiency Expert Programming Skills Mastery of relevant languages, frameworks, and technologies SDLC Knowledge Deep understanding of software development methodologies System Architecture Experience designing scalable, maintainable systems Problem Solving Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities Database Skills Proficiency in database design and querying Platform Experience Experience with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI), AI tools (Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub, Figma), and Azure DevOps
