Job Type: Full-Time Schedule: Monday through Thursday Operate CNC mills or lathes, perform offsets and inspections, and support daily production requirements in a machining environment. First shift requires a higher skill level. Second shift is more operator focused. General Summary The CNC Machine Operator is responsible for operating CNC machines to produce precision parts according to engineering specifications. This role supports production efficiency and quality through accurate machining, inspection, and documentation. Ideal candidates are experienced with CNC milling or turning operations and demonstrate strong problem-solving, quality-checking, and communication skills. Key Responsibilities Machining & Operation Read and follow routers, blueprints, and work instructions to plan and complete assigned work. Operate one or more types of CNC equipment, including mills or lathes. Load and unload parts according to defined cycle times and part specifications. Select proper machine settings and make offsets or adjustments as needed. Perform tool changes based on wear or part-specific requirements. Quality Execute inspection plans and utilize precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, or gauges. Inspect in-process and finished parts to ensure conformance to quality and customer specifications. Complete required documentation accurately, including travelers and inspection logs. Support production targets by tracking and recording daily output.
