If you’re an early-stage innovator, then Edwards AI&T team is the place for you to take the next steps in your career. We’ll give you the tools and resources you need to create groundbreaking innovations that shape the future of structural heart technology.

As we expand our digital and data capabilities, IT plays a critical role in enabling innovation across Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Clinical Affairs, and Regulatory. How you’ll make an impact:

You’ll serve as the senior IT leader for the end-to-end technology ecosystem supporting product development, clinical, and regulatory functions. You’ll lead a large-scale enterprise portfolio and organization: driving technology strategy, execution, and operational performance across complex, global, and matrixed business areas.

Partnering closely with executive leaders across R&D, Clinical Affairs, Regulatory, and Quality, you’ll align technology to business priorities, accelerate innovation, ensure compliance, and deliver measurable outcomes.

  • Enterprise Technology Leadership: Define and lead technology strategies, architecture roadmap, and delivery of platforms supporting PLM, clinical, and regulatory functions

  • Portfolio & Investment Management: Own a comprehensive IT portfolio, including prioritization, roadmap planning, phase-in/phase-out decisions, and investment alignment to enterprise strategy

  • Business Partnership: Function as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, translating business priorities into scalable technology solutions and driving cross-functional alignment

  • Execution Excellence: Deliver complex, enterprise-scale programs with accountability for timelines, quality, adoption, and business outcomes

  • Operational & Financial Leadership: Lead strategic planning and budgeting, manage operating plans, and ensure effective resource allocation and value realization

  • Technology Operations: Oversee enterprise platforms (SaaS and on-prem), ensuring performance, reliability, scalability, and strong service delivery models

  • Domain Enablement: Support clinical (e.g., EDC, CTMS, eTMF) and regulatory (e.g., RIM, submissions) platforms while ensuring validation, audit readiness, and compliance

  • Innovation & AI Enablement: Drive adoption of AI and emerging technologies to improve decision-making, automation, and insights in regulated environments

  • Vendor & Ecosystem Leadership: Manage strategic partners and vendors to ensure delivery, performance, and alignment to business objectives

What you’ll need (Required):

  • Bachelor’s degree plus 16 years (or Master’s plus 14 years) of IT leadership experience

  • Proven leadership of enterprise-scale IT portfolios in global, matrixed organizations

  • Proven experience in vendor relations and negotiations for software development and application services

What else we look for (Preferred):

  • Experience delivering technology solutions in regulated environments (life sciences, healthcare, or medical devices)

  • Experience supporting PLM, Clinical, or Regulatory systems

  • Strong executive stakeholder management and influencing capabilities

  • Experience building and leading high-performing IT organizations

  • Proven success driving large-scale transformation and measurable outcomes

  • Strong strategic, financial, and operational leadership skills

  • Experience with enterprise platforms (e.g., Salesforce, PTC, JD Edwards)

  • Experience delivering AI-enabled solutions in regulated environments
