About the Role:

Rue Gilt Groupe is seeking a talented, customer-centric marketer to join our high-performing engagement marketing team. As an Associate, Winback Program, you will have a unique opportunity to shape the daily discovery experience for our members by participating in the day-to-day management of lifecycle campaigns for both Rue La La and Gilt.

This role is essential to our larger business objectives; you will focus on re-engaging lapsed members across critical digital touchpoints, including email, SMS, and paid social. Working in a fast-paced environment, you will translate cross-channel marketing strategies into business impact, collaborating with internal and external teams to ensure we build long-term value and consistently deliver exceptional experiences for our shoppers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Campaign Execution & Operations

    • Build and maintain the comprehensive winback campaign calendar across email, SMS, and paid social channels.
    • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely, flawless, and accurate execution of every lifecycle campaign.
    • Support campaign QA (Quality Assurance) to safeguard the customer experience and ensure all marketing communications are flawlessly deployed.

    Creative Partnership & Test Ideation

    • Serve as the day-to-day creative partner—crafting briefs, reviewing assets, and providing feedback on winback marketing materials for both Rue La La and Gilt.
    • Contribute innovative test ideas regarding messaging, design, and channel tactics to help continuously evolve the program and maximize customer response.

    Performance Analytics & Reporting

    • Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify critical customer trends and campaign performance metrics.
    • Turn data into business impact by delivering clear insights and data-informed optimization recommendations to internal stakeholders.
    • Assist with basic channel budgeting, financial tracking, and forecasting tasks to support ongoing program planning.

    Cross-Functional Collaboration

    • Partner cross-functionally with Analytics, Marketing Operations (MOPS), and Paid Social teams to align on overarching campaign goals, execution strategies, and audience targeting.

Experience and Background Needed:

  • Education

    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

    Years of experience

    • 1–2 years of professional experience in marketing (relevant internship or co-op experience is welcome and valued).

    Technical skills

    • Systems Agility: Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel); familiarity with email marketing platforms, CRM tools, or marketing automation systems is a plus.
    • Data Fluency: Data-informed and comfortable analyzing campaign performance to pull out actionable insights.
    • Adaptability: Highly flexible and adaptive to shifting priorities, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight timelines.
    • Communication: Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills with strong attention to operational detail.
