Design, develop, and maintain automated tests for complex distributed systems that test the performance of those systems under load. Design, develop, and maintain automated end-to-end test suites from scratch using Playwright. Analyze product requirements and write comprehensive automated tests in Python. Set up and maintain automated testing infrastructure in a staging environment. Collaborate with development and product teams to ensure seamless integration of test automation in Cl/CD pipelines. Identify, document, and troubleshoot issues through testing phases, and track their resolution. Provide detailed reporting on test outcomes and collaborate with engineering teams to enhance product quality. The position is a fixed location based in the Jersey City office; however, telecommuting from a home office may also be allowed. Education and Experience Requirements Job Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a directly related field plus five (5) years of experience with automated functional and performance testing. Must have at least three (3) years of experience in each of the following: Setting up automated test environments Version control systems including Git and Agile methodologies Test management and defect tracking using Jira or TestRail Linux system configuration and scripting for test automation Developing and maintaining automation frameworks and reusable test modules Must have one (1) years of experience in each of the following (experience may be gained concurrently): Python Java or JavaScript for test automation scripting Web automation using Selenium or Playwright frameworks CI/CD configuration using Jenkins or GitLab Will also accept a Master’s degree in Information Technology or directly related field plus three (3) years of experience in automated functional and performance testing in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of experience.
