General Summary
The Claims Support Specialist assists with claims-related inquiries, claim documentation, research, data verification, claim status updates, and administrative support functions. This position works closely with internal departments, providers, members, and customers to help facilitate accurate claim processing and resolution.
Successful candidates possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities
• Research and review claim-related information
• Assist with claim status inquiries and documentation requests
• Verify eligibility, benefits, and claim information
• Maintain accurate records and claim documentation
• Investigate discrepancies and support issue resolution
• Communicate professionally with customers, providers, and internal teams
• Escalate complex cases when appropriate
• Meet productivity, quality, and compliance standards
Work Experience
• Experience in healthcare, insurance, customer service, claims processing, billing, or administrative support preferred
• Knowledge of medical claims, insurance benefits, or healthcare operations is beneficial
• Data-entry and documentation experience preferred
• Entry-level candidates with strong analytical abilities may be considered

Average Pay
