The Word Processing (Document Processing) Coordinator will work to support the initiatives of the Firm, including, but not limited to:
Managing and collaborating with the Document Processor team to handle firm-wide document production and formatting needs
Assisting with advanced Microsoft Word functions including styles, document formatting, revisions, clean and format converted documents, apply styles, cross-referencing, and generate tables of contents and table of authorities
Editing PowerPoint presentations and other presentation materials
Converting PDFs to/from MS Word documents using firm-issued conversion software
Revising MS Word documents from handwritten edits or via Track Changes
Creating labels and correspondence using Word mail merge functionality
Creating and revising diagrams, tables, and organizational charts; assisting with Excel spreadsheets
Processing DocuSign packets
Providing document production support to administrative and legal staff across the firm as needed
Sending and receiving faxes
Assisting with sending out packages via UPS/FedEx using PS/Ship software
Qualifications:
Prior experience as Lead Operator in a legal or financial services word processing/document production environment required
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Experience with iManage Work or similar document management systems preferred
Familiarity with DocXtools, Litera, Adobe Acrobat, Abbyy Fine Reader and DocuSign
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Flexibility to adjust hours to meet operating and business needs.
Shift: 4:30pm 12:30am + OT Eligible
Salary: $100-120K DOE
This is currently a hybrid position with an expectation of a minimum of 3 days a week in office, with the needs of the Firm informing overall office attendance expectations.
