Via Italia – a cozy and genuine pasta bar in the heart of Oslo – is looking for an enthusiastic team member who is passionate about food and authentic craftsmanship.
With us, fresh pasta is made from scratch, and our guests get to enjoy a true taste of Italy right here in Mathallen. In addition, we offer carefully selected products such as sauces, cheeses, flour, pesto, jams, and balsamic vinegar – perfect for both serving and home cooking.
Your responsibilities:- Food and service: Prepare and serve fresh pasta and other Italian specialties.
- Guest experience: Provide excellent service and ensure that everyone feels welcome.
- Product sales: Guide customers through our selection of Italian delicacies.
- Service-minded and enjoy working with people.
- Have a genuine interest in food, preferably Italian cuisine.
- Structured, positive, and flexible.
- Speak English (Norwegian and Italian are a plus).
- Experience from hospitality or retail is an advantage, but not required.
- A full-time position during the summer.
- Possibility to continue on a part-time basis after summer
- A social and friendly work environment in a lively food hall.
- Learning and insights into authentic Italian ingredients and traditions.

Kjerneverdiene er ekte, økologiske og naturlige varer fra bondeprodusenter med basis i den italienske matkulturen. Via Italia begynte i 2014 å lage fersk pasta for salg i butikken. Dette har utviklet seg til å bli en pastabar hvor vi serverer de deiligste pastaretter. Kan nytes både hos oss på vår bardisk eller som take-away.
