Smarter Energy Services (SES) is growing and looking to onboard Community Solar Sales Representatives to help enroll customers in state-approved community solar programs. The ideal candidate has experience in either solar, ESCO, home improvement, or B2B sales particularly within the Upstate New York market and is comfortable generating and converting leads independently. Community solar programs allow businesses to join a local solar farm project without installing any equipment on site. There's no out of pocket costs and they receive guaranteed, long-term savings. QUALIFICATIONS: - Minimum 1 years of sales and/or leads generation experience with documented success (B2B sales experience preferred) - Experience with CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.) and communication platforms such as email, Teams, and WhatsApp - Must be US based (preferably New York State), possess a valid state ID, and ability to pass a background check RESPONSIBILITIES: - Cold outreach to business owners/senior management regarding community solar programs across New York - Self-generate leads and appointments with potential clients - Follow up with and guide clients through the application process and contract signing - Meet minimum required sales targets as set by sales leadership COMPENSATION & STRUCTURE: - 100% commission-based (uncapped earning potential) - Fully remote with flexible, self-managed schedule - Opportunity to transition into part-time or full-time roles based on performance ABOUT US: Smarter Energy is a green energy consulting firm helping homeowners and businesses reduce costs and become sustainable.
