Eastern Florida State College is currently seeking applications for the full-time position of Career & Technical Programs on the Melbourne Campus in Melbourne, Florida. This position provides assistance to Career & Technical Program (CTP) students in the areas of general college information, course selection, academic advising, scheduling, career planning, retention, meta-majors, student life and matriculation to baccalaureate programs. Provides support to CTP by developing course schedules and engaging employers, workforce agencies and CTP faculty to ensure alignment of curriculum to workforce needs. The following minimum qualifications for this position must be met before any applicant will be considered: Associate' s degree with one year of experience in workforce educational programs or three years of experience in student development programs or related educational service programs. Experience with computerized information systems and MS Outlook. Ability to function in a high volume environment that requires frequent multitasking, prioritization and superior customer service skills. Valid Florida Driver's License required. A review of Social Media activity will be part of the candidate evaluation process. This position will require successful fingerprinting and the candidate chosen will be required to pay (currently $36.00). This fingerprinting fee ($36.00) is non-refundable. Ability to access, input and retrieve information and/or data from a computer. Works inside in an office environment. The annual salary is $37,827.67. Successful internal candidates for external job postings should be aware that their current salary does not transfer to the new position. Salary will be as advertised in the job announcement. Full-time employees of Eastern Florida State College receive fringe benefits including health insurance and a retirement plan.
