Position Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and technically strong Field Engineer – Sales & Marketing to drive business development and customer acquisition across the APAC region for industrial dispensing machines and automation solutions.

The role requires a combination of technical application knowledge, consultative selling capability, and regional market development experience. The candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing customer relationships, supporting technical discussions, and achieving sales growth targets across multiple industries.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales

  • Identify and develop new customers across APAC for dispensing machines and related automation solutions.
  • Generate leads through market visits, industry networking, exhibitions, and channel partners.
  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
  • Conduct customer presentations, technical discussions, and product demonstrations.
  • Prepare techno-commercial proposals, quotations, and negotiation support.
  • Build long-term relationships with OEMs, manufacturing companies, and automation integrators.
  • Maintain regular sales forecasting and pipeline management.

Technical & Application Support

  • Understand customer manufacturing processes and recommend suitable dispensing solutions.
  • Support customers during trials, machine selection, installation coordination, and application development.
  • Coordinate with engineering and service teams for successful project execution.
  • Provide technical guidance on dispensing technologies, automation integration, and process optimization.
  • Assist customers in troubleshooting and process improvement discussions.

Marketing & Market Intelligence

  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis across APAC markets.
  • Identify emerging industry trends, customer requirements, and growth opportunities.
  • Support marketing initiatives including trade fairs, seminars, product launches, and digital campaigns.
  • Develop regional customer databases and market reports.
  • Work closely with distributors and channel partners to strengthen market presence.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Establish strong relationships with key decision-makers in customer organizations.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and after-sales coordination.
  • Travel extensively within the APAC region for customer visits, exhibitions, and business development activities.

Preferred Industry Exposure

Experience in one or more of the following industries is preferred:

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • MBA in Marketing is an added advantage.

Experience

  • 3 - 5 years of experience in technical sales, application engineering, or business development.
  • Experience in dispensing systems, automation equipment, robotics, adhesives, fluid handling, or related industrial machinery preferred.
  • Exposure to APAC markets and multicultural business environments is highly desirable.

  • Strong technical aptitude with consultative selling capability.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to understand customer applications and provide solution-based selling.
  • Experience in techno-commercial negotiations.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills.
  • Self-driven, result-oriented, and capable of working independently.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across APAC.
