Start Date: ASAP Duration: 3–6 months

Working Pattern: 3 days per week, 9:00–17:00

Job Overview

Pulse is recruiting an experienced Paediatric Speech & Language Therapist to deliver specialist assessment and intervention for children under 2 years of age, including babies with eating and drinking difficulties. This role spans clinic‑based work, home visits, and virtual appointments where appropriate.

You will join a supportive early‑years service, providing high‑quality clinical care and contributing to safe, effective feeding pathways for infants and toddlers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide specialist assessment and intervention for infant feeding and swallowing difficulties
  • Manage a caseload of children aged 0–2 years with early communication and feeding needs
  • Deliver therapy across clinics, patients’ homes, and virtual platforms
  • Work collaboratively with families, carers, and MDT colleagues
  • Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation
  • Contribute to early‑years pathway development and service improvement

Requirements

  • Recognised Speech & Language Therapy degree
  • HCPC‑registered and RCSLT‑registered
  • Postgraduate paediatric dysphagia training
  • Experience working with babies and young children with feeding/eating/drinking needs
  • Confident working independently across community settings
