Cleaner (Earlies) Shift: 05:30am 14:00pm, Monday to Friday Pay rate: 13.48 per hour Term: 12-week temporary to permanent contract NW Recruitment Services Ltd are currently working exclusively with a market-leading manufacturing organisation in Skipton, recognised for its strong reputation, operational excellence, and long-standing stability within a highly regulated sector. Due to continued growth and high site standards, they are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Cleaner (Earlies) to join their team. Working on the early shift, you will assist the Warehouse Supervisor in maintaining non-production areas of the site to the high standards required within the pharmaceutical industry. This opportunity is within a well-established and growing organisation operating in a regulated environment. Maintaining exceptional cleanliness and hygiene standards is critical, so attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive approach are essential for success in this role. Duties include: • Undertaking manual and mechanical cleaning activities in line with schedules and SOPs • Using cleaning materials and consumables efficiently and in accordance with guidelines • Ensuring all equipment is cleaned and stored correctly after use • Refilling dispensers (soap, hand towels, toilet rolls, paper rolls) • Maintaining and recording housekeeping standards • Managing site laundry to ensure timely availability of clean overalls • Providing cover across cleaning roles as required • Collecting, segregating, and disposing of waste in line with company policies • Reporting faults, issues, or concerns related to cleaning or equipment • Supporting additional cleaning tasks where required • Adhering to Health and Safety regulations at all times • Maintaining a safe working environment • Carrying out emergency and ad hoc cleaning duties as needed What we’re looking for: • Direct cleaning or industrial cleaning experience (preferred) • Ability to follow instructions, SOPs and schedules accurately • Strong attention to detail and pride in work • Good teamwork and communication skills • Reliable, punctual, and committed attitude • Ability to work in a structured, regulated environment • Previous experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or GMP/regulated setting is beneficial but not essential
