Join Zenchef, a leading restaurant reservation platform in Europe. As a Senior .NET & Azure Engineer, you will take ownership of the Formitable backend, a mature .NET system running on Azure. Your responsibilities will include production stewardship, incident response, performance and stability work, platform upgrades, targeted feature development, internal tooling, and knowledge transfer. You will work closely with our DevOps lead, support team, and the wider product engineering organization.
Key missions
- Plan and execute releases to production, typically out of customer hours, and own rollback strategies and smoke tests.
- Act as the escalation point for the Formitable support and dev team, diagnosing and fixing issues spanning bookings, widgets, payments, and more.
- Identify and resolve issues currently degrading the platform, including missing or wrong SQL indexes, N+1 Cosmos queries, and queue back-pressure.
