Maintenance Supervisor Salary Up to $120,000 + Comprehensive Benefits Package in SE USA A leading manufacturer in the wood industry has an immediate need for a high-potential Maintenance Supervisor for a key facility in a southeastern location. Reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager, you will lead a team of maintenance technicians and drive the facility's transition from reactionary to preventive maintenance concepts. We are seeking a driven, detail-oriented leader who is leadable, teachable, and coachable, with the capacity for rapid upward career growth. This role requires a hands-on champion of reliability who can train associates, maximize equipment uptime, and take personal ownership of continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities for this Maintenance Supervisor • Team Leadership: Supervise, inspire, and motivate a team of maintenance technicians in a collaborative environment. • Reliability Transition: Lead the shift from reactionary maintenance to advanced Preventive/Predictive (Reliability) Maintenance programs. • Training & Development: Mentor and train new and current associates on maintenance best practices, equipment troubleshooting, and efficient work standards. • Operations & Safety: Oversee daily maintenance workflows to ensure jobs are completed timely while maintaining strict adherence to safety procedures. • Continuous Improvement: Leverage technical expertise to optimize machinery performance, reduce unscheduled downtime, and champion plant improvement projects. Minimum required qualifications for this Maintenance Supervisor: • Supervisory Experience: Minimum of 3 years of maintenance supervisory or management experience in a manufacturing environment • Industry Background: Minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience within the wood industry (e.g., plywood, OSB, hardwood, lumber, veneers, or engineered wood/joists) preferred • Technical Program Execution: Proven experience managing a predictive/preventive maintenance program • Education: BS degree in Engineering or Technology is preferred; equivalent technical experience will be considered • Core Traits: Driven, detail-oriented, growth-minded, and possessing strong team leadership capabilities.
