Product Engineer – Corporate Accounting Pod

Working Pattern: Full Time

Location: Ideally based in Singapore or Southeast Asia, with flexibility for the right candidate. You'll work across Europe, UK, and Asia time zones to collaborate with our firms and internal teams.

About the Company

Multiplier Holdings is a VC-backed startup that acquires and scales high-impact professional services firms through AI and automation. Multiplier operates in high-stakes verticals like tax and corporate accounting, where complex workflows, regulatory requirements, and talent shortages create significant opportunities for automation.

Unlike traditional software vendors, Multiplier integrates tech and service delivery under one roof. The company builds in-house AI and workflow components that can be configured to fit the needs of each acquired firm, increasing firm efficiency and productivity, while elevating the experience for both clients and staff. The Role

We're looking for a Product Engineer to join our Corporate Accounting Pod. We just acquired our first corporate accounting firms and we're building AI-native tools from 0→1 that transform how accountants, client managers, and firm owners work.

This is a hands-on role where you'll take ownership end-to-end—from working directly with accountants to understand their workflows, to designing solutions, to shipping code to production.

Examples of what you might build: Practice management tools (CRM, work management, documents, billing), doc extraction, bookkeeping automations, month-end and year-end account workflows, R&D tax credit automations, and integrations with tools like Xero, Karbon, and Microsoft Graph.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build products from 0→1: Design, implement, and deploy features end-to-end, from conception to deployment and iteration

  • Translate real-world corporate accounting workflows into elegant, scalable software systems

  • Work hand-in-hand with product, design, and our accounting firms to rapidly explore, prototype, and iterate

  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code with an eye for scalability and performance

  • Work directly with accountants to understand their pain points, prototype rapidly, and iterate based on real feedback to deliver high-impact solutions

  • Contribute to architecture decisions, best practices, and technical direction as we build the foundation for scaling

Who you are

  • Experienced Engineer (8+ years preferred) with a track record of ownership across the full product lifecycle.

  • A 0→1 builder: You've built products from scratch and thrive in ambiguity. You're energized by greenfield work where there's no existing codebase, patterns to follow, or playbook to reference.

  • Passionate about building user-facing products and working closely with real users to shape impactful solutions.

  • Strong foundation in modern full-stack development (Typescript, Node.js, React, Postgres)

  • Experienced in B2B or Fintech environments, particularly in information- or compliance-heavy domains.

  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity, working independently, and iterating quickly in a startup environment.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a pragmatic approach to problem-solving.

  • Location: Ideally based in Singapore or Southeast Asia, with flexibility for the right candidate. You'll work across Europe, UK, and Asia time zones to collaborate with our firms and internal teams.

What we offer

  • Opportunity to build the next generation of products transforming corporate accounting through AI

  • High-impact role with direct access to accountant end users and immediate feedback loops

  • Join as one of our early engineers with direct influence on technical direction and architecture decisions as we scale to serve multiple acquired firms

  • Opportunity to grow into a technical leadership role within the pod structure

  • Collaborative, mission-driven team environment that values autonomy and craft

  • Competitive salary + performance-based bonus / equity

  • Unlimited paid leave, to rest and recharge as necessary

  • Flexible hybrid work arrangement (ideally in-person a couple times per week)

  • Comprehensive medical and dental insurance coverage
