🏀 Senior Producer, UK – Live Sports Broadcasting

The Senior Producer - Non Live is responsible to lead the planning, editorial supervision, and delivery of non- live for major international sporting events. The role will responsible of managing and supporting a team of producers, junior producers, editors and a team of freelancers during event time.
Working closely with the Executive Producer, Senior Producer Live and Project Director (UK), you’ll play a key role in shaping editorial direction, managing production workflows, and ensuring HBS delivers world-class coverage that meets the highest technical and creative standards.
🔑 What you’ll be doing
- Lead the editorial, creative and operational delivery for all the non live content across broadcast and digital platforms.
- Oversee production planning, timelines, and resource coordination across all departments.
- Exercise editorial and creative control on the output, ensuring accurate, consistency and alignment with HBS standards.
- Collaborate with on screen talent, editorial teams, technical partners to develop compelling content and format.
- Act as a key liaison between clients, vendors, and internal teams, ensuring smooth communication and delivery.
- Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and best practices across productions.
- Develop and coach junior members of the team to help them develop across the season.
🎯 What we’re looking for
- Significant experience as a Senior Producer in Non Live on high profile live sport broadcasts, agencies or rights holders.
- Strong Knowledge of live international broadcast operations (volume of content expected, turn around times for features and working on-site)
- Proven ability to manage a creative team, including on screen talent. (essential)
- Understanding and knowledge of Basketball ecosystem – broadcast production, fandom, culture and lifestyle.
- Excellent organisational skills, with confidence managing several shoots and edit teams. (essential)
- Calm decision-maker who thrives under pressure and can adapt quickly in live environments.
- A collaborative leader with a passion for editorial and creative excellence.
