Plan trip logistics and obtain required documentation to transport goods. Make sure that the truck is in proper working conditions before setting off. Communicate with dispatcher, other drivers and customers using communication devices and on-board computers Administer bills of landing and manually and electronically to maintain log books. Record cargo information, hour of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption.
