We are looking for a Junior Financial Analyst / Accountant to join our finance team. In this role, you will cross-train across accounting functions and support our financial reporting and analysis. Key Responsibilities Prepare financial reports and analysis with the finance team. Cross-train across financial, general, and management accounting functions. Assist with financial statements and monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting. Support department leaders with analysis, budgeting, and forecasting. Liaise with external auditors and internal departments during audits. Prepare journal entries and reconcile accounts and sub-ledgers. Participate in month-end close activities. Provide backup support for accounting functions and special projects. Qualifications CPA designation. 2+ years of manufacturing accounting experience (automotive or production preferred). Background in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and cost accounting. Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Macros, VLOOKUPs). Experience handling large data sets and problem-solving. Ability to identify business drivers and solve loosely defined problems. Organizational, multitasking, and project management skills. Experience with Power BI, SQL, Hyperion, Power Ledger, GSD, or TraX (asset). Experience supporting annual audits including SOX and year-end (asset). Ability to maintain confidentiality with financial information.
