Our business specialises in the production and distribution of high-quality, all-natural, preservative-free dairy products including paneer, yoghurt, ghee, and traditional sweets. As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking an experienced and hands-on Production Manager to oversee our day-to-day manufacturing activities and support the efficient operation of our production facility. About the role The Production Manager will be responsible for coordinating daily production activities, supervising staff, and ensuring that all products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and to our high quality standards. This is a practical, hands-on role within a fast-paced production environment. Key responsibilities include: Oversee and coordinate daily production activities across dairy and sweets manufacturing Plan and organise production schedules to meet output, quality, and cost targets Supervise production staff and ensure smooth workflow during shifts Monitor production processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce waste Ensure compliance with HACCP, food safety standards, and workplace health and safety requirements Maintain accurate production records, inventory logs, and reporting documentation Assist in troubleshooting production issues and maintaining product consistency Coordinate equipment maintenance and ensure production equipment is operating effectively Support ongoing improvements to production processes, including shelf-life and product quality To be successful in this role, you should have: A relevant qualification in operations management, accounting, business administration or manufacturing, food technology, or equivalent industry experience At least 2 years of relevant, hands-on experience in food manufacturing or production environments Experience in dairy production processes (such as cheese, yoghurt, or similar products) Sound understanding of HACCP, food safety standards, and quality control procedures Proven ability to supervise production teams and manage day-to-day operations Strong organisational and problem-solving skills within a fast-paced environment Candidates with extensive practical experience in lieu of formal qualifications are encouraged to apply.
