Position Title: Substitute Lunch/Recess Monitor Location: Bowling Green City Schools / Bowling Green, OH Employment Type: As Needed / Part-Time / On-Call Pay Rate: $11.00/Hour About the Role Dedicated School Staffing is seeking dependable and attentive Substitute Lunch/Recess Monitors to support the daily supervision of students during lunch periods and recess times when regular staff are absent. This role ensures a safe, positive, and orderly environment while promoting respectful behavior and healthy social interactions. Key Responsibilities Supervise students in the cafeteria, playground, hallways, and other assigned areas Assist with lunch routines, including helping younger students open containers, managing lines, and encouraging appropriate table manners Monitor recess activities to ensure safe play and adherence to school rules Promote positive behavior, redirect conflicts, and support students in problem-solving Maintain cleanliness by encouraging students to clean up after themselves and reporting spills or safety hazards Communicate concerns (behavioral, safety, or health-related) to teachers or administrators promptly Respond calmly to emergencies, following school procedures.
