Property Maintenance Technician Company: NDI Maxim Management Location: Greater Atlanta Area, GA Job Type: Full-Time Compensation: Competitive salary based on experience Benefits: Company vehicle provided Position Overview NDI Maxim Management is seeking a skilled Property Maintenance Technician to support the upkeep and improvement of our commercial and residential properties throughout the greater Atlanta area. The ideal candidate is a dependable problem-solver with strong hands-on maintenance skills who takes pride in maintaining safe, functional, and attractive properties. This full-time role includes a company vehicle for travel between properties and requires the ability to independently manage maintenance tasks while maintaining strong communication with tenants, vendors, and management. Key Responsibilities General Maintenance & Repairs Perform preventative maintenance including HVAC filter replacements, plumbing repairs, electrical troubleshooting, and appliance installation Diagnose and repair issues related to fixtures, appliances, electrical components, and plumbing systems or contract repairs with a vendor Ensure properties remain in excellent working condition through routine inspections and repairs Structural Improvements Abilty to assess the following prior to contracting a vendor: Carpentry tasks including framing, trim work, and structural repairs Drywall repairs, installation and patching Painting and flooring repairs to maintain property appearance and value Customer Service & Work Order Management Respond to tenant and property maintenance requests using company property management software Provide accurate repair estimates and timelines Maintain strong customer service standards when interacting with tenants and clients Manage inventory of tools, materials, and maintenance supplies Property Upkeep & Vendor Coordination Coordinate maintenance activities with vendors and contractors when necessary Oversee exterior property upkeep including: Gutter cleaning Power washing Exterior painting Siding repairs Ensure properties remain clean, organized, and professionally maintained Safety & Compliance Conduct annual property inspections to identify potential safety hazards Follow company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines Maintain clean and organized work areas Report structural or safety concerns to management promptly Required Skills Technical Skills Plumbing repairs Electrical troubleshooting Carpentry and framing Drywall repair and installation Painting and finishing Basic HVAC maintenance Appliance repair and installation Power tool and hand tool operation Soft Skills Strong problem-solving ability Excellent time management and task prioritization Professional customer service skills Attention to detail Clear communication with tenants and management Qualifications Prior experience in property maintenance, facilities maintenance, or construction Ability to handle multiple maintenance tasks across different properties Comfortable using mobile work order or property management software Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical work Requirements Valid driver’s license Ability to travel to properties throughout the Greater Atlanta area Reliable and punctual with strong work ethic Background check may be required Why Join Us Full-time stable position Company vehicle provided Opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of commercial and residential properties Supportive team environment with growth potential
