Prevent, identify and resolve drug related problems to assure patient safety, improve patient satisfaction, and minimize costs. Review all medication orders prior to administration to a patient for possible drug allergies, potential drug-drug interactions, duplicate drug orders, appropriateness of dose prescribed, and for the occurrence of potential adverse drug reactions.
Education and Experience Requirements
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD). Foreign equivalents accepted.
Completion of a 1 year PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency OR 3 years of active acute care experience.
State of Florida Pharmacist license.
