Join Workday as an Account Executive in our Customer Base sales team. In this role, you will develop and maintain relationships with existing customers, focusing on upselling and deal management. You will drive strategic add-on and renewal business within Medium Enterprise customers and coordinate cross-functionally with Workday's internal teams. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience in building relationships with existing customers, negotiating deals with C-Suite executives, and selling SaaS/Cloud-based solutions. Excellent communication skills and experience managing longer deal cycles are essential.
About the role
- 4+ years experience with building relationships with existing customers for add-on or incremental business - 4+ years experience negotiating deals with a variety of C-Suite Executives to close opportunities - 4+ years of experience selling SaaS/Cloud based ERP / HCM / Financial / Planning / or Analytics solutions to C-levels from a field sales position - 4+ years experience in developing long-term account strategies with existing customers - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Experience with managing longer deal cycles beyond 6 months, with large deal sizes - Understanding of the the strategic competitive landscape of the industry by staying up to date with trends and customer needs so you can effectively position Workday solutions within accounts - Experience leveraging and partnering with internal team members on account strategiesKey missions
