Summary Description:
We are seeking an On-Site Construction Compliance Inspector to join our team. The On-Site Construction Compliance Inspector plays a pivotal role in ensuring that construction projects adhere to contractual agreements, regulatory requirements, and industry standards. Responsibilities include conducting on-site observations of construction work in progress to verify compliance with Contract Documents. This involves close collaboration with the Owner, Engineer, and Contractor to ensure alignment with project specifications and timelines. In this position, you will be traveling from site to site to perform job duties.
Responsibilities:
• Perform infrastructure and building inspections, including but not limited to storm, sanitary, water, roadways, and facilities to ensure compliance with Contract Documents
• Collaborate with the Owner, Engineer, and Contractor to determine conformance to project specifications.
• Report progress of work and Contractor's compliance with the approved construction schedule.
• Maintain a detailed logbook documenting Contractor hours, weather conditions, changes in construction or conditions, site visitors, daily activities and reporting any potential non-compliance issues
• Document construction progress through photo documentation.
• Generate daily reports on project status and activities through an online reporting platform
• Manage and maintain as-built drawings to accurately reflect completed work.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in construction experiences, project management, or construction management
• Ability to read Architectural and Engineering Plans
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Suite and construction management software.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
