Join our team as a Payroll Administrator on a fixed-term contract for one year. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for employee pay queries, ensuring data accuracy and timely payroll processing for approximately 3,500 workers in the UK. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders, maintain confidentiality, and support the Payroll Manager with audits and compliance. - This is an urgent hire so candidates with shorter notice periods would be - Experience working in a bureau environment processing multiple PAYE companies at the same time - Ability to prioritise, manage time and work effectively in a fast paced and changing environment with guidance from the Payroll Manager and wider payroll team - Must possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and thrive in both independent and collaborative settings - Must have solid experience running end to end payroll in a fast-paced environment - Case Management System especially Zendesk desirable - CIPP Qualification (or working towards) desirable - Intermediate to Advanced user of Microsoft Excel and Outlook essential - Zellis ResourceLink experience desirable or use of large payroll software - Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a small team - Flexibility in working times to accommodate timetable for payroll cycle - Effective root cause analysis, problem solving and suggestion of improvements to prevent recurrence of any issues - Eager to continually learn and to keep pace with changes in payroll legislation and best practiceKey missions
