At Range, we’re building towards a world where anyone can live the financial life they imagine for themselves. If that sounds like a mission you want to be a part of, let’s create it together.

We’re building AI-powered wealth management. Investments, taxes, retirement, estate planning, all in one platform instead of scattered across different advisors and apps. We're backed by Google's Gradient Ventures, Cathay Innovation, Scale Venture Partners, and more. We’re growing fast while still small enough that everyone's work is visible and impactful.

About the role

As Regulatory Compliance Manager, Go-to-Market Enablement, you’ll help Range move faster— responsibly. This role sits at the intersection of product, marketing, and compliance, with a core mission of enabling scalable, low-friction approvals for client-facing experiences while maintaining strong regulatory standards and exam-ready evidence.

You’ll own day-to-day marketing and product compliance workflows, serving as a trusted partner to Product, Engineering, Design, Marketing, and CX. This is a highly cross-functional role for someone who enjoys translating regulatory requirements into practical guidance that supports innovation and growth.

We're excited to hire this role at Range's Headquarters in McLean, VA. All of our positions follow an in-office schedule Monday through Friday, allowing you to collaborate directly with your team. If you're not currently based in the area but love what you see, let’s discuss relocation as part of your journey to joining us.

What you’ll do with us

  • Run the day-to-day marketing and advertising compliance program, including reviews and approvals under the SEC Marketing Rule and FINRA communications standards

  • Own compliance enablement for client-facing products and releases, partnering with Product, Engineering, Design, and CX to review requirements for new features, disclosures, and user flows (e.g., onboarding, education content, recommendations, prompts, and in-app messaging)

  • Support Range’s expansion into video and long-form content—such as market insights, webinars, and video advertising — by providing timely, clear, and scalable compliance reviews

  • Maintain and evolve books-and-records practices related to advertising and client communications, including ownership of workflows and documentation within compliance systems

  • Serve as the subject matter expert for advertising and client communications compliance, translating regulatory rules into clear guidance, templates, and training for partner teams

  • Promote exam and audit readiness by ensuring clean documentation, consistent record keeping, and efficient response processes

What will set you apart

  • Experience in regulatory compliance within investment advisory, fintech, or financial services, with a focus on marketing, advertising, or product-related compliance

  • Strong working knowledge of SEC Marketing Rule requirements and FINRA communications standards

  • Proven ability to partner cross-functionally with product, marketing, and engineering teams in fast-moving environments

  • Practical, solutions-oriented mindset—able to balance regulatory rigor with business velocity

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, especially around documentation and record keeping

  • Ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into clear, actionable guidance for non-compliance stakeholders

  • Experience supporting regulatory exams, audits, or inquiries is a plus

  • Familiarity with compliance tools and systems for advertising review and books-and-records management is a plus

  • Series 7 and Series 24 are required
